Update 2 – Tropical Storm Harvey Update

(Miami, 08/29 - 3pm) We would like to update our network partners and customers on the recent developments in Texas and Louisiana.

Please be advised that the DB Schenker office in Houston is closed on August 29 and 30 due to inclement weather and flooding.  So far, there is no flooding reported at the Houston warehouse.

Road, port and airport closures are affecting service in Texas and Louisiana.  DB Schenker is monitoring the situation and will resume operations when it is safe to do so.   Service delays and disruptions are anticipated for inbound and outbound shipments as the recovery efforts begin.

Our contingency plans are in place and, as always, our priorities are the safety and well-being of our team members and minimizing the effects of service during storms. DB Schenker will be prepared to provide service to the best of our ability in areas affected by the storm and as local conditions allow.
